Committees/Volunteering Opportunities

Endeavour Elementary PTA has plenty of Volunteer Opportunities!

We rely on parents, staff and the local business community to help us deliver successful events and activities throughout the school year! Whatever time you have - an extra hour or tens of hours - your PTA could use your help. Whether it is bringing in a "goodie" for Staff Appreciation or serving as a Chairperson for a committee, any and all help is GREATLY appreciated.

Our Committees include:

  • Fundraising (Fall and Spring fundraisers, Box Tops, Labels for Education, Ink Cartridge Recycle program)
  • Staff Appreciation
  • Community Events (Family Fun Nights)
  • Enrichment Programs (Art Docent Program, Reflections, Spelling Bee)
  • Book Fair
  • Spirit Wear
  • Communications and Membership
  • And More!
For a complete listing, see the Committee List

This year, in our continuing effort to promote communications and reach out to one of our most important stakeholders, the parent community, we have created a NEW Volunteer ListServe. Members of the Volunteer ListServe will stay informed of opportunities to be DIRECTLY involved in important PTA activities.

Enrollment is simple! Email endeavourpta.volunteers@gmail.com with SUBSCRIBE in the subject field. We will not share your email address with any third party. Please take a moment to review the current committee list and let us know if you have an interest in "chairing" an Open committee, in sharing a unique talent or simply willing to consider volunteering your time (a lot or little) when needs arise.

Art Docent Program: Ongoing Volunteer Oportunity

Art Docents are parent/community volunteers that work in the classroom once per month teaching art. No Art Experience Necessary, as lessons are provided along with discussion questions and supplies. Volunteer needs are:

  1. Art docents - 1 hour in-class time, 1/2 hour prep. per month + occasional meetings with the other docents. In-class times are coordinated with the teacher.
  2. Docent Helper - 1 hour in-class per month. Helpers assist the docent in the actual hands-on art lesson by helping kids with glue/paint, clean-up, displaying art work etc.
  3. Supply prep. - as needed, hours flexible. Supply prep will do things like cutting paper and putting lesson supplies together for the docents.
