Schoolpop
We have also signed up with “Schoolpop”, a program that has partnered with literally hundreds of major online merchants and service providers (for example, Amazon, Buy.com, Magazines.com, Alaska Airlines, Orbitz, eBay, Dell, DisneyShopping, Harry & David, Starbucks, 1-800-FLOWERS, and many more). Simply by clicking through to your favorite merchants via www.schoolpop.com, up to 20% of your purchases will automatically be contributed to the PTA. The prices you pay are exactly the same as if you went directly to the merchant, and you don’t have to do anything other than sign up and start your shopping.
To sign up, go to www.schoolpop.com, click the “Register” hyperlink toward the upper right, and enter your personal information and our organization ID (148658).
Schoolpop also offers a no-annual-fee Visa card which automatically kicks back 1% of all your purchases as a contribution to the PTA. This card offers an introductory 0% on purchases and balance transfers for 12 months, plus the PTA gets a $20 bonus when you activatethe card. To apply for this card, fill out the Schoolpop-visa form (using 148658 as the organization ID) and send it to school in a sealed envelope addressed to PTA Treasurer—VISA. No need for postage.
