ART DOCENT PROGRAM NOVEMBER
In November our students focused their studies on the first element of art - LINE. Our students in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades studied works by Vincent VanGogh, Henri Matisse and Joan Miro.
They then went on to create their own “Line Masterpieces”. The 4th graders have created their own unique works following the style of Navajo Sand Painting. Please see the display of these wonderful compositions downstairs near the 4th grade classes. Our 5th grade classes studied the art of Katsushika Hokusai, their beautiful works are can be seen in the office.
Thank you to all our Art Docent volunteers! Thank you also to all the ongoing supporters of EndeavourPTA! For our Art Docent program to function we need an ample supply of a wide range of art materials.
Without PTA funding these materials would not and will not be available. The children always have a super time during Art. Please take the time to ask your child about the project they did andc ompliment their creative side!
